Sea Day 2

Sea Day 2

It was a mostly cloudy day today, as you can see from the top photo. I took it through a window. We went to art class and worked on our turtle pictures. I’m not quite finished and will need to do a bit more work tomorrow. Then it was trivia time. It’s getting harder to get seats in the lounge for our whole group. We tend to get about half the answers right. Not bad but certainly not good.

I tried to get into a felting class to make a gnome but I was number 2 on the list and only one person didn’t show up. There will be another class in February so I will try to get in that one. Since I didn’t get the class, I went to play cards. There were 7 of us for Five Crowns, I didn’t have the highest score, only second highest. I was doing really well until I got caught with 70 points against me in one hand.

From cards, Bunny went to the gym and I took a walk around the Promenade. We came back to the room to rest for a bit. Then it was time to go to the sports deck for a shuffle board game with our friends Beryl, Ben and Rudy and Betty. We didn’t know the rules so we made up our own. It was very windy up there. Finally the people on the other side left so we could play out of the wind.

The entertainer tonight was a violinist. We thought it might be boring but he played popular music. When he played We Are The Champions, a group of people got up and started singing along. It was the Viking Choir. They had been practicing for several days. It was fun to see them. Another busy day at sea.

Photos: Bunny and I at the Dancing Under The Stars party last night, shuffleboard, and, the mini golf.
