Another day at sea

It was a pretty normal day at sea. I went to calligraphy, Bunny went to the jacuzzi..Then I went to a lecture about Nat King Cole. It was very interesting. I didn’t realize what a big star he was in the 40’s and 50’s. Then it was Trivia time. There were only 5 of us there and we did pretty well. Then it was a quick bite for lunch and then to cards. Bunny played Five Crowns and I played Euchre. I am happy to report the ladies beat the guys 2 games to 1.
‘We had dinner this evening in the Italian specialty restaurant. I had lasagne and it was wonderful. Bunny had the pasta of the day and liked hers as well. Then we had a decadent caramel dessert. We played a couple games of slider, each winning one. Then Bunny went to see the pianist in the theater and I went up to the lounge to hear one of the young entertainers sing with Laurence, the guitar player. They were very good together. Now we’re in the room reading over the letter we got about the India trip. It turns out we will have the same itinerary as the original group and get to see the Taj Mahal in the late afternoon and in the early morning. A few other things are different than our old plan but that’s ok with us. We will no be melting in the noontime heat trying to see the Taj.
‘We will be in Singapore tomorrow. We have a panoramic tour of the city in the afternoon. We may take the shuttle in for a laser show in the evening. I’m looking forward to seeing the city. It will be 93 degrees with 70% humidity though. .

I am including the photos from last night’s post. The photo at the top is of the gang at the American barbecue dinner on the pool deck last night. Below you’ll see the elephants and the waterfall. There is a picture of Bunny in front of the souvenir tents by the waterfall. The elephant hiding behind the bushes is one of the males who are segregated from the females.
