BIG NEWS!!!

There has been much speculation and gossip about our itinerary, since it isn’t safe to go through the Red Sea these days. They finally gave us the news today. We will be leaving the former itinerary in India and heading southwest to Mauritius. From there we will go to a few ports in South Africa, with a free safari included. That’s good news. Then we go to Namibia, up the African coast to Dakar in Senegal. All I remember about Dakar was that we stopped there in the middle of the night coming and going to Africa so the plane could be cleaned-with us on board! I hope I get a better vibe from it this time. We will go to Morocco, then Spain and Portugal. Another stop has been added in France, then the rest is the old itinerary.
‘As you can imagine , it is a major topic of conversation on the ship. I know a couple people who may go home from Singapore. Bunny and I are hoping there will be dropouts on the Taj Mahal trip so we can get on it. No new photos. I forgot to transfer my morning balcony shot so that might be tomorrow. You get to see my blob which is the departing turtle. I had to buy my 4th turtle in a gift shop in his honor! Tomorrow is Thursday Island, our last stop in Australia.

I have really enjoyed our stops in the Land Down Under. I was expecting dry, arid country but the east coast is lush, green and beautiful. The people are friendly and will stop and answer questions. I’d come back if I had more travel years left.
From Australia we go to see Komodo Dragons.

I am so glad you are getting your safari. Can you book a private tour of the Taj Mahal if the ship tour is ful?? Maybe the concierge on the ship could help? I am happy to ee a picture of the two of you, both looking good.
