Gloomy day at sea

We are battling some headwinds and the sea is not being very Pacific, or calm. We’ve been rocking and rollin’ all day. It’s been cloudy and windy all day. We considered a walk around the deck this morning-very briefly. Once we saw the people outside getting windblown and trying to stay erect, we changed our minds.

We had breakfast in the Restaurant. Then came back to the room and I read while Bunny took care of Laguna Woods business by email. We went to trivia and got a better photo of us all. Tomorrow will be our last game as half the team is getting off in LA. We’ll need to get some new recruits once we head to Hawaii. Then we played cards for an hour. I was feeling queasy so had some lunch. Photo lecture was next. Tonight was South American night in the buffet. I wasn’t feeling too adventurous so I had a salad and baked potato.
We found a table in the atrium that has electronic games. We played something called Slider where we have to slide colored icons into groups of 4. It kept us entertained until it was time to go to the Farewell concert. The captain came on and bid those leaving farewell. They brought the staff onstage and it was quite a lineup. They do have excellent service on Viking.

I’ve included some more whale photos from yesterday. They aren’t mine. A friend was on a smaller boat and most of the action was in front of their boat. There were sea lions barking at the pier too.
