One day to Honolulu
Another busy day at sea. Art class, trivia, and cards. For something different, we went to high tea at 4:00. It was a full tea with a scone, jam, clotted cream , finger sandwiches and a few pastries. Very nice.
‘We were able to book a luau for Honolulu. We are there for 2 nights. We have another Panoramic tour of the city. It also says the Arizona Memorial but not sure if we’ll actually get to go on it. We shall see.
‘I’ve been having some tummy problems so it’s probably a good idea we didn’t go to dinner. The photo below shows my plate at the Mexican dinner in the Cafe last night. I was so happy to have some “home” food, I pigged out. No wonder I’m having problems today!
At the moment we are in the room watching the entertainment in the lounge. Pretty cool. We have also been binge watching a tv show called Raising Hope. It is hilarious.
I am including some shipboard photos. The young lady is Karen, the hostess in the restaurant. She knew our names on the second day on the ship! She knew our cabin number in the first week. She knows over 800 peoples’ names. There’s a photo taken in the Explorer’s Lounge on the front of the ship and the cafe that is attached. This is where we play trivia. Our team, the Village People, is back up to 10 members. We still aren’t very good but we have fun. From there we go to play cards for a n hour or so. Today was Five Crowns. I was the high scorer, not the outcome I was hoping for! As an added treat we did a bit of shopping in the lower level shop, not the high priced jewelry store, but were happy with our purchases. I bought two small pendants and made earrings with my jewelry repair kit. Fun!

Have fun in Hawaii – hope you get to go on the Arizona – you are going to need another suitcase for all your stuff
